So it's definately been forever since I've updated this, so I have a lot to say, but not much time to say it all in! Anyways, this summer I spent 2 months in Jacksonville, Florida with a summer training program with Navigators, a Christian campus organization at K-State, and it was pretty much the most amazing summer of my life, not even kidding. I lived with other awesome girls who definately know me more than almost anyone else, and God taught me so much. It was incredible.

Now I'm back here at K-State and I'm living in Gamma Phi Beta this year, yay, and it's pretty great! It definately was culture shock coming back from an amazing summer to living with some crazy girls, but they're so great and I've gotten to spend quality time with my three roomates...they're so fun! But classes are okay, some weeks they pretty much rule my life, and it's been so great getting to be back in Manhattan and around the people and friends I love most in this world!

Younglife is going so well too! My girls are now freshman in High School and they're so great! It's been awesome getting to know them better and be an encouragement and mentor to them! God is good! We just had our first Campaigners (Bible Study) Last thursday and it went really well, the girls are excited to be there and learn more about Jesus!

So basically, life is so great, extremely busy and I've had a cold for the past week now, mostly because of lack of sleep, but it's still great! Anyways, yay, it's friday! I'm going camping tonight with a bunch of girls from Navigators, then to the football game on Saturday, yeah! But now it's off to class! See ya!

Chy Chy

So, Emily told me I had to update this, so here I am. She's probably right though, it has been a few months since my last post, ooops!

Well, so yesterday was pretty much an amazing day because not only was my 9:30 class canceled but I got to go to AMS-the middle school in Manhattan, for lunch today and see all my girls, finally! We have club on friday for young life too, and it's going to be fabulous! We're gonna have DDR, mario cart (yesss!), four-square, and lots of other cool games too! But anyways, back to yesterday...so then I went to lunch with a pretty amazing girl that does young life with me, and after that I had my 1:05 class which I was there for a grand total of 35 minutes...then I came back, wrote a french paper (in french) in 30 minutes, (which is a PR for me by the way), spent time with a pretty cool God, hung out with Ryan, went to dinner, and then, wait for it....wait for it....this is the best part.....I went to see Shawn Mcdonald live in Topeka!!!!!!!! It was A-mazing! Plus, the coolest part of it all was Sam was there and I pretty much never see her, so that was exciting. But the concert was so awesome, I have to go it his cd now, it's a definate must.

Anyways, besides that, K-State is pretty cool. I have the coolest most fabulous friends in the world, I'm convinced, and besides classes and the fact that I have three tests next week, college is awesome even though it's crazy busy...and I mean CRAZY busy! But it's all good, I'm still alive and besides, who really needs to sleep anyways? It's just a waste of time...:)

Okay, I'm sure Emily will be proud to see my newly updated site so my day is now complete! I love you Smily!  

College is so AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Classes started up again yesterday which wasn't exactly fun but oh well, if it's the price I have to pay to see everyone again, then that works! Actually, I'm excited about all of my classes except for French 4, which will just really stink, but besides that every other class will be interesting, time consuming, but not really too hard! So we have a three day weekend! Yay! Except Gentry and Libby are leaving me! Gentch is visiting some friends in lawerence and Libs has to go home and get the rest of her stuff for 2nd semester. But oh well, Rachel is here and of course Maggie, so it's all good! Oh! Sunday after I got back from Greek Ski in Colorado with Navs, I left for Sterling, Kansas to visit Rachel! It was so amazing! I had never been to such a small town before, but it was so cool to see where she lived and her high school and everything! Actually since classes started I really haven't seen Rach, perhaps tonight, perhaps! Right now I'm just sitting here in my room sort of bored because I finished classes at 12:30, I have no homework yet, and I've already done my quiet time! So I'll just talk about Colorado! It was so amazing, four of us from G-Phi ended up going, which was awesome! Gentch and I and Mase and Ang! We stayed in Colorado Springs at the Navigators headquarters which is actually in Garden of the Gods, so it was really pretty! We had different speakers throughout the week and workshops and such. But what was most amazing was just getting to spend time with my already close friends, but also we others I didn't really know until the trip. We've become really great friends since then and it was so awesome just hanging out with everyone! We had so many amazing conversations, God really blessed the trip!

But besides that, I'm so excited for this semester because there is so many things going on! Libs and I are working together as 8th grade leaders for Young Life starting this semester and just so many other things! Yay God!

Oh and guess what?! I got a letter from Isa the other day! All the way from Germany! It was pretty much amazing!

So, I'm here in my dorm room quite sad because Maggie, my roomate, left for break a couple of hours ago and I'm very lonely! I have one more final tomorrow, then I'm done! But it's French and I have to do really good on it to keep a B in the class and I HAVE to get a B! I am seriously scared for my life right now because I don't feel like I understand it as well as I should but I've been studying since yesterday! Oh well, all I can do is my best and after 1:40 tomorrow, I'll be free, yay!!!!!!! Plus, tomorrow night I get to see my bestest friends in the whole wide world because they're all coming in town for Scott's wedding! Weddings, marriage, I can't believe I'm about to witness this, it's just weird, I don't feel old enough! Sam's coming tomorrow night too which is very exciting because I haven't seen her in exactly 16 days and I'm just about to die, but I'll see her in less than 24 hours now!

It's weird because even though a lot of people have left for break already I'm perfectly content being here in my home...yep this little box of a room has become my home, and even though I'm excited to see my family again I really don't mind either way if I'm here rather than at home and that's a good feeling knowing that I am offically okay with being on my own from now on! Anyways, back to studying, oh joy....:)
